#84 - AP CH4: Range Uncertainty

01:03:13  | Chapter 4 of Accuracy and Precision explores the effects of range uncertainty on first round impacts.  Range to target can be achieved multiple ways with varying degrees of accuracy, so it is important to choose an appropriate method for your target size and importance of a first round hit.  From visual estimation to reticle-ranging to using LRFs, each method has its ideal purpose and caveats.  Follow along as Bryan and Francis pin down some great examples of how different cartridges react to range uncertainty for a first round impact.

    When using a high-quality rangefinder like a PLRF 25C to find the exact range to enter into the AB Ballistic solver App, is it more accurate to use;
    Distance (air-line) with a measured elevation angle, or the Horizontal Distance from the PLRF with a zero elevation angle. I find slight differences in the solver results. What could cause differences in results?
