#129 - Revolutionizing Long-Range Shooting Technology
00:48:51 | This week Bryan and Mitch break down the latest game-changing developments in shooting technology. From AB Quantum’s revolutionary Weapon Employment Zone (WEZ) analysis and Custom Drag Factor (CDF) calibration to new device integrations with Kestrel 5700/5700x LiNK models, we’re exploring how these innovations will transform the shooting season. We’ll also dive into the latest airgun slug advancements and settle the debate on the optimal zero distance – 100 or 200 yards.
So what would be a recommended range to true CDF if I
Use a CDM from the library
I have done a tall target test
I use a Garmin Xero to measure MV
The direction says any range greater than Zero but further is better.Im shooting a 7 Saum 184HB target.
Great question, you can push the range as far out as you can comfortably to perform the test. With that being said we have put together an instructional video on how to use the Custom Drag Factor in AB Quantum. https://youtu.be/IvkMiIUOxGY
